The Herbarium BCN is supported by the UB’s Plant Biodiversity Resource Centre (CeDocBiV) and contains around 400,000 specimens, mainly from the area of the Catalan Countries (Països Catalans) but also from the rest of the Iberian peninsula, Northern Africa and tropical regions of South America.
