La Relació de Duoda Art Collection and Research Forum was created in 2000 by a group of women professors, lecturers, researchers and students at Duoda Centre for Women’s Research. From the outset, the project counted on the direct involvement of the artist Elena del Rivero. The collection itself grew from donations of paper-based supporting materials given by contemporary artists invited by Duoda to create art installations, which were initially held in Barcelona’s women’s bookshop Pròleg. The paper-based collection, which is kept at Duoda, gave rise to the Research Forum, which gathers together the written and visual materials generated by the works and makes the collection a lively source of political thought and practice in the field of difference feminism.
